Research:
Understanding the inter-dependencies between biodiversity and indigenous communities living on resources from fragile ecosystems is the real passion that guides my research. I have a particular interest in the influence of anthropogenic action on Sahelo-Saharan ecosystems with an emphasis on evaluating the use of natural resources. This approach fascinates me because it allows research to benefit integrated management of conservation efforts. This is to guarantee indigenous communities access to ecosystem services while ensuring the natural habitat integrity.
