With an interdisciplinary background in biology and geography, my work focuses on ecosystem monitoring and restoration in contexts of high anthropogenic pressure and climate change, with particular interest in wetlands and riparian environments.
As part of my work with the Laboratory of Soil Biodiversity, I study the potential of artificial substrates for peatland restoration using vegetal and microbial ecology, with a focus on testate amoebae. I am also involved in monitoring a unique experimental peatbog system at the Botanical Garden of Neuchâtel where my work involves greenhouse gas and hydrological measurements and vegetation sampling.
