Benjamin ORY

I study the biodiversity of testate amoebas, tiny, protective microorganisms found in habitats like peat bogs and herbarium specimens. My work involves creating illustrated inventories, describing new species, and improving methods for extracting amoebas from samples. By combining morphology and taxonomy, I aim to expand our understanding of these fascinating organisms and make my findings accessible to both researchers and the general public.
