The Language Stay Abroad is an option in Blocks 3 and 5 of the BA Study Plan. Students who wish to follow an advanced English language course in an English-speaking university, either directly before or during your studies at Neuchâtel (ideally over the summer), can receive 6 ECTS toward the completion of their degree.

The Language Stay Abroad is highly recommended for all students who wish to attend the HEP and need to pass the language exam.

The conditions of the course must be approved in advance by the BA responsable de pilier. At the end of the course, students must provide a certificate of completion, certifying that they have fulfilled all course requirements. A stay including a total of 150 hours of work is required (= 6 ECTS), i.e. the equivalent of four to six weeks, and corresponding to a level >=C1.

Students cannot validate a language stay twice.
