David Correia Saavedra holds a joint PhD in linguistics from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and from the University of Antwerp (Belgium). He is mainly interested in computational and quantitative approaches to linguistics. He has published a monograph in which he proposes an original approach to the measurement of grammaticalization. He has worked on multiple FNS projects and is currently teaching English linguistics at the Universities of Neuchâtel and Fribourg.
