Internship thesis

Doing an internship is a great way of adding competences to your theoretical and methodological knowledge and taking a first step towards the world of work. It is highly recommended, regardless of your academic curriculum, to do an internship so as to develop your training further.

Characteristics of bachelor internships

The Faculty and the institutes regularly receive information about available internship positions. These are sent by e-mail to the concerned students (second and third year of the Bachelor, the internship credits being validated within the elective module of the third year of the Bachelor) and are displayed in the showcase of the Faculty in the Main building. However, it is up to the student to undertake the initial steps and to approach potential employers. The internship must be in accordance with the acquired theoretical skills and the position offered by the company.

The internship can be done in 4 weeks full-time (40h / 42h per week) worth 6 ECTS, or in 8 weeks full-time (40h / 42h per week) worth 12 ECTS. The internship is done under the supervision of a tutor in the company and a FSE professor supervising the internship. The internship which lasts 8 weeks can be divided in two internships of 4 weeks, however, they must be done in the same company.

The internship is done under the supervision of a tutor in the company and a FSE professor supervising the internship.
