Registration deadlines

  • Automn 2017: Tuesday 19 September - Friday 13 October
  • Spring 2018: Monday 19 February - Friday 16 March

All registrations must be saved on the IS-Academia system, plateform for the official registration.

Obligation to register at the start of the semester, for each course that students wish to follow, within the deadlines given by the academic calendar.

The registration for the course is unique, it can only be done once.

When the course is registered, the exam is automatically registered for the session which immediately follows the end of the course.

  • Backup copies: when you are done with your course registrations, you must click on the button to save your registrations, for each semester on which you registered for courses.
  • Control and evidence: print your registration(s) every semester to keep a written track. The PDF button creates a PDF file, per semester, summarizing the registrations. Only this PDF file is admitted as evidence. The secretariat of the faculty does not confirm any registrations.
  • Prerequisites: some of the courses require prerequisites. Please consult the course descriptives.
  • Thesis / Internship: You must register for the course and the evaluation within the session for which you wish to validate your credits. August-September session: registration is not possible via IS-Academia. Ask for registration via email to
  • Extracurricular / extra-muros courses: registration is not possible via IS-Academia. Ask for registration for the course via email to , joining an email of the person responsible for the programme or the academic advisor allowing you to follow the course.
  • Course schedules: you can consult the course schedules on Pidho.
  • IS-Academia: it is a platform which enables you to manage your studies by yourself (register for courses and exams, monitor your grades, print your certificates)
  • Course descriptives: you will find in the course descriptives any information about the courses (objectives, contents, requirements, evaluations...)
  • Moodle: is the platform through which you can access the various documents concerning your courses and exercises. You must register for every new course at the beginning of each semester. (Please note that Moodle does not correspond to an official registration for the courses!)
  • Webmail: it is your university mailbox. Every student of the UniNE has an email address «» that he or she is required to consult on a regular basis. It is the mailbox in which you will receive the information from the administration or the professors throughout the year.
