Thesis :

  • A Semantical and Ontological Analysis of Ways of Acting. The aim of the project is to clarify the concept of manner / way of acting. The examination is based both on metaphysical questioning (what kind of entities are actions? How should one understand the relation between a determinable property and its determinate properties?) and a grammatical questioning (what is the relation between an adverb and the related verb? What are the differences between adverbials of manner, means and instrument)?
