European exchanges ("ERASMUS")

Students wishing to study at the UniNE should, in the first instance, contact the ERASMUS or International Relations Office within their own institution. They should then fill out, sign and return the application forms (see link under "Forms"). The procedure outlined below gives further information on deadlines.
 
Language requirements
  • Candidates who will be enrolled in courses taught in French must master the French language in order to follow courses and take exams.The B2 level, as defined by the Council of Europe, is a must. French lessons are offered as part of the immersion course and during the semester at the ILCF.
  • Candidates who will be enrolled in courses taught in English only must master the English language in order to follow courses and take exams. The B2 level, as defined by the Council of Europe, is a must. The knowledge of the French language is not required but recommended to facilitate the daily life.

European Exchanges - Application Procedure

Deadline : April 15 to apply for an ERASMUS exchange during  the Fall semester or the whole academic year

  • April 15: university partners send to bureau.mobilite@unine.ch the following information about the selected students :
    names
    birth date
    study field
    semester(s) (Fall semester or Academic Year)
    level : Bachelor, Master, PhD
    e-mail address
  • April 30: UniNE's Mobility Office provides the selected students with the application forms & the other information necessary to their registration and accommodation
  • May 15: selected students return their application forms to the contact person (see below).
  • June 5: UniNE's Mobility Office confirms their admission to the selected students with a copy to the international office of their university and sends also the information necessary for their stay at University of Neuchâtel.

  • September 15: university partners send to bureau.mobilite@unine.ch the following information about the selected students :

    semester(s) (Fall semester or Academic Year)
    level : Bachelor, Master, PhD
    e-mail address
  • September 20: UniNE's Mobility Office provides the selected students with the application forms & the other information necessary to their registration and accommodation
  • September 30: selected students return their application forms to the contact person (see below).
  • October 15: UniNE's Mobility Office confirms their admission to the selected students with copy to the international office of their university and sends also the information necessary for their stay at University of Neuchâtel.
