UniNE Kids Camps

When your kids are on holiday, but you are not...

To enable a better work-life balance, the Office of Equal Opportunity organises 4 sports/fun camps and 1 cultural camp per year. Each camp lasts one week and provides day care from 8AM/9AM to 5PM. They are intended for children of the members of the UniNE community, EPFL-Microcity included.

Sports/fun camps are intended for children aged between 5-12. They provide day care from 8AM or 9AM to 5PM.

The cultural camp is intended for children aged between 8-14. It provides day care from 9AM to 5PM.

2019 Dates

  • Spring 1: sports/fun camp from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2019
  • Spring 2: cultural camp from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2019. 
  • July: sports/fun camp from the 8th to the 12th of July 2019
  • August: sports/fun camp from the 12th to the 16th of August 2019
  • Autumn: sports/fun camp from the 14th to the 18th of Octobre 2019 - FULL

The sports/fun camps are intended for children aged 5-12. The cultural camp is intended for children aged 8-14.

To register, please use this form (one form per camp).

Prices for the 2019 Summer and Autumn Camps

  • 1 child: CHF 170.-
  • 2 children : CHF 290.-
  • 3 children: CHF 370.-
  • 4 children : CHF 420.-

Children could be dropped off as from 8AM (includes breakfast) for an extra CHF 20.- per child/week. 

  • Schedule: 8.00am to 5.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
  • Location(s): school gym and/or swimming-pool of the Mail building and outside if the weather is nice; one-day excursion
  • Number of children and age : between 20 et 25 children aged 5 to 12
  • Supervision : stable team with one or more external contributor(s) depending on the activities
  • Lunch :  at Romarin, the CPLN cafeteria
  • Transport : public transports (bus, train, funicular)
  • Activities: various sport and fun activities such as gym, ball games, swimming, one-day excursion or discovery of a new activity (capoeira, circus, kin-ball, fencing, etc...)
  • Schedule : 8.00am to 5.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
  • Location(s) : Neuchâtel area, preferably outside if the weather is nice
  • Number of children and age : between 20 et 25 children aged 5 to 12
  • Supervision : stable team during the whole week
  • Lunch : prepared by the supervising team
  • Transport : public transports (bus, train, funicular)
  • Activities: discover various locations and activities such as introduction to sports, tours, walk, swimming, swing-golf, etc...

Cultural week - museums example

  • Schedule : 9.00am to 5.00pm
  • Location(s) : Neuchâtel area museums, one-day excursion in the middle of the week
  • Number of children and age : approx. 15 children aged 8 to 14
  • Supervision : one stable supervisor during the whole week along with the Atelier des musées mediation team
  • Lunch : delivered on site
  • Transport : public transports (bus, train, funicular)
  • Activities: discover various cultural locations and museums through pedagogic and fun workshops
