One-off subsidy to fund an academic project
This one-off subsidy is aimed to fund an academic project such as fieldwork, symposium participation, publication, study abroad, etc... The maximum amount awarded is of CHF 5'000.-
Are excluded from this support: usual food expenses, salary and salary or fee for a third person or a third-party. However, children's daycare expenses or official dinners can be covered by this scheme.
Two application deadlines per year : March 1st and September 1st.
Next deadline: March 1st, 2021
Please send your application through the application form (must be filled out). A PDF file has to be downloaded and must include the following documents and in this same order:
- motivation letter including the impact of this grant on your career
- CV (and publications list)
- project description
- detailed budget
- employment contract with UniNE or proof of registration period (PhD, UniNE)
- letter of recommendation from the supervisor
- letter(s) of refusal or acceptance from other parties
N.B. : The applicants are kindly asked to first contact their institute/faculty for financial support.
PhD and post doctorate women
The Commission égalité reviews the application files by taking into account the following criteria:
- quality of the CV and of the project proposal
- impact of the project/grant on the applicant's academic career
- adequate budget
- candidate's potential family duties and responsibilities
Priority is given to applications from post-doctoral candidates and/or with family responsibilities.
The beneficiaries of the grant are requested to supply a scientific and financial report (Art. 11 of the regulation - only in French)
- scientific report (max. 2 pages) includes a summary of the work done and outcomes of the project and/or a copy of the article, presentation, poster, book, etc. that the grant has financed. It is also important to include an assessment of the impact of the project on the beneficiary's career.
- financial report : summary of the expenses (with all necessary proofs).
We kindly remind you that in case if you have applied for several grants, you can not be supported simultaneously by two or more distinct instances for the same case. You are also requested to inform the instances of your situation.
