Content

Plants are confronted with beneficial and detrimental organisms and have to finely tune their molecular responses in order to either accommodate or fend off these organisms.

The symposium will explore various interactions between plants and eukaryotic organisms such as beneficial fungi, oomycete pathogens, nematodes, herbivores and enemies of the herbivores, as well as parasitic and incompatible plants.

World-leading experts in these fields of research will discuss specificities and commonalities between these interactions in the form of regular talks and round-table discussions with small groups of students.
