Sohrabi, Reza

I have worked for several years as project engineer/hydrogeologist on multiple international projects including hydrogeological/geothermal exploration & characterization, groundwater modelling & management, numerical modelling of flow/heat transport and safety analyses for radioactive-waste repositories for energy and environmental industry, before starting my PhD research at the Centre for Hydrogeology and Geothermics (CHYN) in Neuchâtel.

At the moment, my research focus is the development of efficient multiphase fluid dynamics, heat transport and solid mechanics numerical tool (THMC) to better understand complex deep hydrothermal systems and geothermal reservoirs.
