At the end of the intensive course, students will be able to:

  • interact and participate in seminars and classes in English;
  • do a short presentation on a topic familiar to them;

  • use a learners' dictionary and develop their academic vocabulary.

Each session presents tasks and exercises focusing on the four language skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading). Material and examples come from Academia.

Short test at the end of the course. Students must also hand in a short text and do a short oral presentation.

The course material is going to be distributed in class. A contribution of CHF 10.- has been added to the course fee to help cover the cost of copies.
