Dr. Markus Will (1963) is one of the two partners of goodwill communications. He founded the management consultancy in 1998 together with Corinna Gutt. Additionally, Dr. Will is a Senior Lecturer for communications management and a faculty member of the University of St. Gallen, one of the top business schools in Continental Europe.

Markus has a wide ranging, in-depth experience in communications: up until 1998, he was Global Head of Corporate Communications at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in London. Between 1994 and 1996, he held the position as Head of European Media Relations at Merrill Lynch, first in Frankfurt, then in London. And prior to 1994, he served as a financial journalist and editor of foreign news for Börsen-Zeitung, the leading German business and finance daily.

His academic activities relate to the Institute for Media and Communications Management (= mcm institute) at the University of St. Gallen. He acted as a Project Director and Alternate Director of the institute between 1998 and 2001. Since then he is affiliated to the institute, a lecturer at the University and a member of the faculty. He has written a book on value-based communications management. Dr. Will holds a diploma and a doctorate degree in economics from the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen.
