The NCCR Plant Survival head office is located in the Chemistry building (G) at the site Unimail of the University of Neuchâtel.

By plane / train

Neuchâtel can be easily reached by train, located on a main line between Geneva (airport) and Zurich (airport). Hourly connections from/to these both airports/cities. TGV fast train connections from/to Paris. Hourly direct connections from/to: Geneva, Zürich, Basle, Berne, Fribourg and Lausanne.

By foot

from the Neuchâtel train station it is a 15 minute walk to the University (right side of the city map).

By bus

the bus station is located North of the railway station. Take bus no 7 (direction 'Hauterive'), get off at the station "Les Portes Rouges", walk back to cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge (green cross on the detailed site Unimail map).
You can get bus tickets at each bus stop (CHF 1.70 "Railway station" to "Portes-Rouges", coins or CASH card).

By car

Arriving by car, leave the highway at the exit "Maladière". At the roundabout, continue straight on, follow Route des Falaises, Rue Pierre-à Mazel. At the light turn right (uphill) into the Rue de Gibraltar, take the second street on the right, the Avenue Bellevaux (see map below). Look out for the brown signs bearing the logo of the university and labeled "Le Mail". You can park on the parking lot below the buildings (long stay). If it is full and you don't find a parking space in the neighbouring streets (most of it are short stay only, blue zone, max. 1.5 hours), use the free customer parking of the shopping center "TopTip Portes Rouges". This parking is open from 7:30-18:30.
