| The long-term goal of NCCR Plant Survival with regard to the practical exploitation of research results is the development of ecologically sound and sustainable methods enhancing plant protection in natural and agricultural ecosystems as well as exploit our results for biotechnological applications where appropriate. Among others we expect to contribute to the establishment of new agricultural/viticultural methods to be employed by farmers and winegrowers for improved plant protection (e.g. biological pest control, disease resistance) and preservation of biodiversity, joint research projects, and the development of guidelines to be used in environmental protection and agricultural/viticultural practice. |
