Plant Survival in Natural and Agricultural Ecosystems

The survival of plants is of fundamental importance to guarantee the biodiversity in natural areas and a sustainable agriculture.

We have established a new interdisciplinary network of scientists from several Swiss universities and Federal institutes to study the interactions of plants with their environment.

Our research is grouped within three main areas: Plant physiology, Ecology, and Application.

All National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCR) are managed by the Swiss National Science Foundation on behalf of the Federal authorities.
